  The Beira Alta region is really the place to be. The hilltops, mountains, river valleys and castles are
  magnificent. Coimbra and Viseu are the cities to visit and many historical villages are also a must to see.

    

  To the dynamic people amongst our guests we present the following activities:

  You set off and get around the region by bicycle or for those who like it rough, we suggest a mountain
  bike.

  You’re eager to tour with your car or motorcycle. We offer you detailed plans with ‘places of interest’ and
  ‘splendid routes’.

  Hikers find their way around here. You can explore by yourself or cheerfully GPS your way through the
  countryside or you can just a well be guided by our completely described walking-tours.

  As you  know, the roads tend to be quite bumpy over here. So why not ride a horse and enjoy the natural
  surroundings.

  Or for whom is really looking for a challenge, can prove him/herself by climbing a mountain or canoeing.
