Welcome

  In 1999 we managed to turn a  jungle in the foothills of the Serra da Estrela mountains into a magnificent
  quinta. After a period of many sleepless nights, blood, sweat and tears, Toca da Raposa was born.

 

  Today, we offer you a budget-friendly, ecological camping nearby Meruge, a picturesque village.
  It's a specifically chosen spot surrounded by oaks, pines, mimosas, olive trees and all kinds of fruit trees,
  which all provide relaxing in the shade.

  Backpackers, motorcyclists, cyclists, families with children, throughout the world are all our beloved
  guests. We speak Dutch, Portuguese, English, French and also a mouthful of Spanish.

  Our intention is to offer you a holiday to your liking. We like to welcome you in a warm-friendly family
  atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the country life.
  We offer you a pleasant and carefree stay under a mediteranean sun.
